Aperture size and depth are driven by incident radiation, so the facade opens where the building can afford light and closes where it cannot. The pattern is a by-product of the analysis, not a graphic applied over it.

A ceramic screen is a facade problem in miniature. Cells get sunlight-responsive openings, then extrusion height is driven across the field, so the surface reads as light and shadow up close and as a gradient from across the room.

Why parametric design
Every project starts from the constraints of its own site: orientation, light exposure, context and budget. The geometry that comes out is unconventional because those inputs are specific to you, and it is buildable because performance and fabrication are resolved in the same model.
Every design is guided by its context rather than a catalogue.
Daylight, heat gain, cooling and acoustic needs become parameters for the design, helping reduce operating loads and costs.
Sections are fabricated from the same model that was analyzed, numbered, nested and costed, so material waste and site rework stay low.
Climate analysis
Heat gain analysis models sun exposure, shading and thermal load across the facade. Every pattern and perforation responds to measured solar exposure, to reduce incident radiation and help cut cooling costs.

Meet the founder
Founder & Chief Parametric Designer
Devesh completed a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Bombay, where elective courses at the Industrial Design Centre introduced him to 3D modelling. He went on to an MBA at IIM Shillong, studying how sustainability is built into a business rather than added to it.
Corporate experience taught him the processes that let a business scale. He is drawn to designs that transcend convention through sustainable materials, and that translate into breathable buildings with lower cooling costs. He founded SineSquare to put design, materials and sustainability into one practice.
Design innovation matters when it translates into a building that answers its climate, its culture and its context. A unique geometry is just how we get there.
